Please don't walk your dogs during the high heat of the day. Heat stroke is a very dangerous possibility for them, along with burnt feet.

Also bring your pocket pets (rabbits, rats, guinea pigs etc) inside during the hot days. If you can't, please move them to a shady area, check on the regularly and keep them cool.

Everyone please read. It is that time of year and we are getting baby birds handed in on a regular basis.
Mum and Dad are more than likely watching from a distance, waiting for a safe time to go down and feed them.
Please don't handle them unless they are in danger or injured.
...

It's that time of year again!! The fledglings are leaving their nest and learning to fly and we get lots of calls from REALLY concerned members of the public who are worried about these little baby birds!! We know it can be worrying but please remember that these little ones are using this special time to learn how to all things birdy, and although you may not be able to see them their parents are not far off making sure that all goes to plan. So if you do see a baby bird that is attempting to fly (and potentially not doing a very good job of it) please just stay far away from it (especially if you are walking past with your dog) If it is injured then call your local veterinary clinic or the team here at Bird and Exotic Animal Clinic.

PAWESOME NEWS!!!
It's official - The Animal Doctors have arrived in Officer! It's all systems go now and we're ready to help even more of our furry locals in our brand new clinic.

We've been part of this community for more than 30 years and can't wait to meet our fur friends (and their humans) in Officer, Beaconsfield and surrounds. We're not a veterinary franchise or a big corporate vet merchandiser. We're a team of local, experienced veterinary professionals who really care about keeping our community's pets happy and healthy.

Feel free to spread the word Animal Doctors' supporters, you know your friends' pets deserve the best too xx
